Nordica’s Junior Team J R FTD system ski is a soft, easy-to-maneuver ski that’s perfect to start on and has plenty of room for skill advancement built into it. The composite core that sits at the heart of the ski is super light and allows for a great deal of flex when learning how to engage edges and make those first few carves. This flex also helps to absorb vibrations caused by the terrain, keeping the ride extra smooth. The On Piste Rocker shortens the effective edge slightly, thus requiring less power to initiate carves. This rocker also helps when navigating less-than-ideal terrain. These skis come with the JR 4.5 FDT bindings, which feature a low DIN range that will allow for easy binding release during a fall.
